Visa: Before traveling to Vietnam PLEASE check their latest visa and entry requirements for your country of origin well ahead of your departure date.

Depending on your country of origin, Vietnam allows you to stay for various lengths of time and may require a visa. For instance:

  • Visa-free for 30 days: Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore
  • Visa-free for 21 days: Philippines
  • Visa-free for 15 days: Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain
  • Visa-free for 14 days: Brunei, Myanmar

If you’re planning on staying for 30 days or more, you’ll need to apply for a tourist visa at least 3-5 days in advance. However, as stated previously, please check the latest requirements for Visa and entry into Vietnam to ensure you are accessing the latest information.
