Whether you’re looking for casual eats, fine dining restaurants, or rooftops in Fes, there’s a restaurant in Fes for you.

Fes is home to amazing things to do. One of which is enjoying a break for your sightseeing to enjoy a scrumptious Moroccan meal. From Tajines to couscous to flakey pastilles, the traditional Moroccan cuisines in Fes are among the best in the country.

Depending on where you stay in Fes, your Riad or Dar may have an on-site restaurant and bar. Places like Riad Fes Maya, Riad Laaroussa, and Riad Fes offer on-site restaurants and pretty delicious ones at that.

However, if you want to explore the Fes Medina’s, the list of below restaurants is a great place to start!

Best Restaurants in Fes

Located in the maze of the Fes medina, you’ll find this family home turned restaurant. Open for over a decade, Restaurant Dar Hatim serves up local Moroccan fares to perfection.

From elaborately tiled walls and floors to beautiful Moroccan rugs, this former home brings you all those good Moroccan vibes as soon as you enter.

As soon as you sit down, you are brought a welcome drink of mint tea. The menu has a handful of dishes and then a special or two. Karima takes pride in her establishment and even more pride in her dishes.

From veggie couscous to turkey skewers, you’ll find a short menu of tasty Moroccan food to choose from, all created from family recipes. In our opinion, you honestly can’t go wrong. The food is amazing.

The cafe has a few tables indoors, along with a few outside. The tables are inside a nearby large window, so no matter where you sit (indoors or outdoors), you’ll have exceptional views of the bustling Medina street the restaurant sits on.
